Standing on stone, the ground beneath
Standing on stone.
What will I say when they ask me to speak
Half the person I used to be.
What will I be when you decide to leave,
words on your grave I should not believe.
Give me faith, give me your gift
See the good, only pain
Standing on stone, the ground beneath
You were the sun, that shined over me
Standing on stone, the ground beneath
You were the sun, that shined over me
Where will I go when I sail to sea, waves that whisper wash away me.
What will I do when I fall asleep, thoughts will fade memories we'll keep
Give me faith, give me your gift
See the good, only pain
Standing on stone, the ground beneath
You were the sun, that shined over me
Standing on stone, the ground beneath
You were the sun, that shined over me
Cannot pick a favorite track, they're all up there in the excellence realm. Thank you guys for this album, I haven't been this emotionally touched by a punk/indie/emo record since Something To Write Home About. Also digging the wonderful lyrics. Maybe the singer can still be a writer, after all :) 自決 9 6
