Ambition 01:47
My life long ambition, has been forever imprisoned. I'm restricted from my only pleasure.
2.
Remember 03:22
Take all you need, there is nothing left to lose Something to show, you're everything I know. The silence is, louder than you imagine Hit me hard, I will crack but I'm standing. These clouds hang over me, shadow. And it's getting hard to breathe, shallow. Do you remember when the stars met the sky Do you remember when your eyes met mine Do you remember when the stars met the sky Do you remember? You carry my bones, destroy all you know.

Close To Me (free) 02:36
We're hanging on the edge this time, a second chance is hard to find. So go on looking, for your piece of mind. Did you ever stop to think about what you said And there's nothing left to fix, rebuild or repair. Please don't give up, please don't give up Stay close to me There's nothing for me, there's nothing for you Something's never change. A mountain climb of misery, I reach the top but I'm not free I break when I see your face Did you ever stop to think about what you said And there's nothing left to fix, rebuild or repair. Please don't give up, please don't give up Stay close to me There's nothing for me, there's nothing for you Something's never change A mountain climb of misery, I reach the top but I'm not free.

Asylum 03:09
Which way to go, stuck inside. A maze, an answer I have yet to find. And I have to know, give me a sign. Walls are moving closer. Am I just empty inside, nothing to show. Nothing to hide, hollow I don't know who I am anymore, save me. As I sink to the bottom. Stare at an empty sky, daydream. Shut my eyes and sleep away my misery. And I have to know, give me a sign Days are running thin. Am I just empty inside, nothing to show. Nothing to hide, hollow I don't know who I am anymore, save me. As I sink to the bottom. Salvage what's left of this labyrinth, can I turn back the time. Can I turn back the time.

Luna 03:08
Journey south, so far away Too hard to speak, to hard to say Head in the clouds, where is the day Phantom moon, I'll wake at noon Last night, I watched myself fall asleep Then I, flew away. Facing the foot of my bed, the thoughts that float through my head. There's a weight on my chest, it's pulling me down. Scratch my eyes, I see red. There's something inside. Last night, I watched myself fall asleep Then I, flew away Don't wake up, stay with me Lost in our own daydream.

Standing on stone, the ground beneath Standing on stone. What will I say when they ask me to speak Half the person I used to be. What will I be when you decide to leave, words on your grave I should not believe. Give me faith, give me your gift See the good, only pain Standing on stone, the ground beneath You were the sun, that shined over me Standing on stone, the ground beneath You were the sun, that shined over me Where will I go when I sail to sea, waves that whisper wash away me. What will I do when I fall asleep, thoughts will fade memories we'll keep Give me faith, give me your gift See the good, only pain Standing on stone, the ground beneath You were the sun, that shined over me Standing on stone, the ground beneath You were the sun, that shined over me

Meet You There (free) 04:23
All that's standing in the way, oh glory so hard to be. I'm falling, I'm falling. We built this wall together now, it's time to choose which side you're on. I'm waiting, I'm waiting. Falling through my fingertips, slowly getting smaller. Breathing down my neck, why won't you stay. Screaming at the silence. That mask you wear on your face, oh glory so hard to see. I'm blind, I'm blind. Call and I'll come running home, let's talk about where we went wrong. I'm trying, I'm trying. Falling through my fingertips, slowly getting smaller. Breathing down my neck, why won't you stay. Screaming at the silence. You're a weight I can't shift of my shoulder, you're page I don't want to turn over.

about

Forrest are an alternative four-piece from South Wales that formed back in 2010. Their debut EP, titled ‘Before You Go’, was largely met with positive coverage across all kind of blogs and websites after it’s release, which is probably why it surpassed 2,000 downloads through their BandCamp page. The one criticism, however, was that Forrest were “almost there” with finding their sound, finding that one sweet spot where they can really shine – which is, of course, to be expected of a debut EP. Later on, the split with Ireland’s The Winter Passing saw them edge closer to their full potential, but with it only featuring two-tracks from Forrest, it only really acted as a teaser.

Since then, the band spent a year writing and recording what is to be their debut album – ‘Soluna’, taking the time to make sure everything was as good as it could be. Guitarist Ryan Heatman had this to say about the stretched-out nature of the preparation for the release of this record:

“It was a very long time writing and recording, and although it became frustrating at times, I don’t think it’s as frustrating as it might have been if we released something we felt could have been better. Overall, we’re really proud of the outcome and we spent a lot of time on it. We hope people have as much fun listening to it as we did making it!”

Soluna is the culmination of everything the band has been building towards since it’s inception, and it opens up a new chapter for Forrest. It features 8 tracks recorded and engineered by Paul Griffiths at PG Productions and mixed and mastered by Ciaran Parnell.
